I would be very willing to take in a kid or 2, 8-10-12 year old........... but it would have to happen in a month or 2. Not doing a million pages of paperwork. Not doing a real investigation... my passport and my history are readily available...
I did stop paying for my Unicef kids in Mauritania when I came to China, but that was just a funding thing that went to wherever it went........... did not take the kids in................I would welcome a child or 2, in my home, tomorrow, if the flipping jerks that create the paperwork would allow it.
Russsia has vast wilderness that could take in or support refugees ... undoubtedly some that could and would love to create a city, a town............. just don't shoot us. Canada too, should stick them up north of the arctic circle, hahahha.
I do question the preferences of refugees....... they should not be given prime locations like London or Berlin or Paris
here is a plot of land........... probably 10X better than anything in Syria..... make the best of it.... we'll help a bit to start
Agreed. They shouldnt get to choose. Anywhere safe is good. As for China taking in muslim refugees. Never gonna happen. Its a shame there isnt more world pressure on certain countries to contribute. Germany shouldnt have the burden of everyone.
No compassion in China at all. They wanna take but no interest in giving.
Mr_spoon:
They wouldn't make profits from refugees, so they are worthless to them.
RandomGuy:
Do not worry for us, Germans are very good at solving problems. Problem -> Solution. Not like so many country circumventing the problems for ages.
And with out shitty birthrate we need migrants anyway, the Turks are a hard working people, something we have in common.

Heh, in 1900-1912 my great grandfather moved from Syria to the USA. He was worried that the ottomans would have another Christian pogrom. Which is funny cause that word isn't Turkish or Arabic,
A century later...hey Great grand-pa...you were right.
China took in 260000 Russians in the early 1900s
But i doubt they would do it again
Funny the refugees art trying to get to the usa
ha ha)) It's not easy to get even a tourist visa to Russia)) you must pay for a hotel prior applying for visa and to have insurance, cause they aren't going to help any foreigner if he would be robbed or lose his wallet. And there are almost no foreigners there. Only students, tourists and USSRians. + no housing provided and of course no financial support even for locals))
That's not a bad thing)) They wouldn't have problems like in Italy, France and Sweden))Soon white Europeans would ask Russia for asylum))
yeah, it could be great solution for those economic migrants and war refugees we have in europe a lot of them. but, obviously, they are not in hurry come to this glorious and prospering country, are they ?

Which would be part of the point - I suspect that the governments of various countries would prefer that those refugees actually head back home later... if they came to China, perhaps they might find Syria is a nicer place to live. (or not.. if they can create their own little enclaves).
