Some days I think that the small daily frustrations, challenges and successes of life abroad are helping me to learn how to be a more patient and understanding person. Some days, not so much...
How's it for you? Are you a more or less patient person for being here?
STOP TRYING ME!!!
GuilinRaf:
I gave you up point no. 5. Dont let the down points get to you, some of us have a down point stalker and on ocassion some lonely individual will just give down points to everyone. "See it as a badge of honor"as one poster said!
It does help me to learn how to be more patient. With all the things that happen here you have to adapt or you will let it all get to you. So yes it is good for my patience level because China is definitely a place where you will be tested over and over again. You can use that saying': 'they like to test your patience here'.
I've had no choice but to learn to be far more patient than I was at home.
Without extreme patience in this country people would go stark raving mad or go postal.
When I do find myself losing patience I just buy more beer, crank up the rock and roll and try to forget about the day.
And when I go home now I find that things that used to annoy me are far less bothersome now.
Patience or madness. One of two is mandatory for living here longterm.
If it didn't improve your patience to some degree, there would be alot more cases of laowai have "road rage" on foot, on the sidewalk..... much less in line for anything, or public transportation, or driving. But there is a balance and if you show too much patience, then you will never get anywhere.
I like to think when I do go home for good, I'll be able to take ANYTHING when it comes to patience.
oooopss, I have no patience to begin with, is valium easy to get without a prescrip?
