Q: In China, has anyone had Laser Tattoo removal carried out?

Hi, has anyone here in China been brave enough to have any laser tattoo removal carried out? I have 2 [two] tattoo's which I would like to have removed, however I not sure of the actual outcome. If there is any scarring left behind after the procedure. Or even if they do it right. I went to a tattooist  3 weeks ago who advertised that he also removed tattoos, I asked to see the make and model of the machine used which he proudly showed, although not the best model, it was one that I had read about.  I also considered buying my own decent machine, then selling it later in the UK. The artist quoted my 500 rmb for each tattoo removed regardless the number of visits required.

I just posted my story about this very subject under another question about laser hair removal. It didn't go well for me. Septicemia and a night in hospital. Lots of vomit and poop. Missed work, lost money and forked out 1300 for a night on a saline drip. Oh yeh, and you can still see the tat.

Many thanks for the most welcomed reply. Sorry to hear you suffered, I'll keep the tattoos.

A: "... through ..."?  Only "through" comes to mind is "Shenzhen agent can connect you with an employer, who's authorized to hire waigouren ... and can sponsor Z visa." It's not like every 10th person you meet in Shenzhen's hood can sponsor work visa ...  The only way to change from student to labourer visa is just a regular way by: 1. Finding an employer, who'll apply for an Invitation letter; 2. Exit China and apply for Z visa in your home country's Chinese embassy; 3. Enter China in 30-days after Z visa was stamped into your travelling instrument ...As I am aware, you won't be able to switch to Working permit by remaining in China....,so make ready for a return to your home .... -- icnif77
