Well since all of its money comes from exporting to the West, then of course it's going to face a similar crash.

Again, this question has been asked repeatedly. While it may not crash, things are certainly looking dim for China's economic future. The best they can hope now is a "soft landing" but I'm not so sure they'll get it. They did the same thing the US did. Loose lending regulations. Ironically, that's what they used to power their economy through the recession and now that's the thing that's dragging them down.

I think it will weather the storm because China has a large domestic market
in alot of other countries where they dont make anything anymore it will be harder
but time will tell

Yes. The US crash was in a society with open and transparent accountability systems (though not great ones) and it went down hard. I can't IMAGINE what's going on in this place. First off, the smaller towns are up to their gills in bad debts trying to keep up with bigger cities. As well, small business can't get loans so they go to loan sharks who borrowed off banks to begin with. Those debts don't get repaid as the borrowers flee the nation.

This place is rife with bad debt, a real estate bubble, a coming recession and a population scared to death of being poor again. That's ONE of the reasons the government intends to steal billions from foreigners for "social security." I'm sure they have some other schemes as well to try to keep government revenue flowing in cause they spent all their new money on glamour projects. This place is just like Dubai. Save your money and transfer it to accounts in your home countries every so often. This place will one day go down hard.

Any country has to go through economic cycles, and the signs are that they will soon. The managers of the foreign international companies in China that I train all seem to think China is heading for a fall. The managers of the Chinese international companies are adamant that recessions can never happen in China, and that economic cycles don't apply here. Not sure whether they really believe that, or just repeat what they are told to say. I think it will hit hard.

Yes, and the only question is how bad will it be once it happens. Either China will readjust the value of its currency, which will slow the rate of growth for a few years, but will allow for the creation of a healthier middle class with some actual purchasing power. However, if they don't stop artificially depressing the value of their currency their banks are going to become over leveraged and marred in bad debt. In that case, look for a hard landing.

nevermind:

Become? They're already there.

If the officials keep up with the embezzlements, then it bound to come. Developers are setting the property prices, by over inflating land prices. That's kind of what happened in the west, over inflated house prices along with the many other issues. One good thing that came about with regards to the West's economic problems was that it did bring to light many fraudulent and wrong doings within many of the big establishments. China is becoming too expensive. Over pricing is catching on in the clothing market.  Too many fancy named stores but unknown brand names. Expensive  but poor quality. Just my personal thought.

My only prayer is that the whole economic system will crash and fail utterly and without hope of recovery, because it will only be then that we will be able to move forward to a more mature world in which people will realize they have the technology and the resources to experience a world of abundance without fear, crime or war over the imagined and invented illusion of scarcity.

Or we could just push for wider seats in McDonald's for all us fat f***kers.
