Q: China Mobile vs. China Unicom? Which is better
Been using China Mobile since I got here, but with a new smartphone I want to access 3G which is only available on Unicom. But have been told that Unicom is considerably more expensive. Anybody advice?

Unicom is more expensive, has much much worse coverage (you'll be lucky to get three bars even in a big city), and they zero out your account at the end of every month, then tack on hidden fees, but don't tell how much worth, expecting you to just give them more and more money till the computer green flags you and you can use your phone again.
I'm surprised anyone uses Unicom.
