I don't think China's ready for the masculinist movement... have you seen what pansies the men are here? Women are the future of China. They're more educated, sassier, sexier, and get things done better, quicker and more efficiently. Foreign girls should take note...

What does feminist mean?
Means we want equal, not that we want above man, control everything.
I am definitely a feminist.

I don't know if China's ready, but you betcha it's time! Boycott all you want Martin. Maybe I've hurt you, it wasn't my intent.

I'll go with Ludovico on that one, except for his last sentence. In a cesspool of men, we have to fight harder, work harder, all that for a lower salary. It builds character, and in the end we do one hell of a good job! We are fighters!

And Wenna, you go girl! The best ones should always be the one on top of the pyramid, sexual discrimination shouldn't exist in a civilized country.

Any foreigner who thinks they are going to change China is in for a very disappointing life in China.

You will not change China but China will change you. Campaign for NOW in China and you will find yourself either in a Chinese jail or deported.

I'm not here to change China. I'm here for work, and I want to understand how the country and their people are. I'm not an activist though, if that's what you mean, but I have my opinions. You seem to have lost yours.

Edit : beside that, I find China to be an absolute lovely country!

you look angary, Pustulu... It happens to my Chinese girlfriend some time, so I buy her a bottle of wine and it solves everything! She's so happy after she even gives me massage while i sit on a chair with a cape. You should try it!

I like China a lot too, but sometimes I find people to be too shy. They don't like dancing much, too...

I have nothing against Martin. He gave me a good answer in the past, and I thanked him for that.
Maybe he doesn't like me, and I totally don't care, but he went too far when calling me a feminazi, then putting words in my mouth. He assumes i'm an activist because I asked a question about women rights in China. He thinks that because of a single bad experience, I hate China. Well no, I really love China so far!

Maybe he thought I was submissive and that I would agree with all he said because he's a man and he studies in Law, but tough luck, I'm not the fleeing type. I had to fight all my life to get where I'm at now, I won't just back off because of a misogynist man who just wants women to stay in the kitchen and obey to every men orders.

And hey, I'm not the one who asked that question about the feminist movement!

You are so naive.

I asked the question because of your position stated in your sexual harassment thread.

A: "... through ..."?  Only "through" comes to mind is "Shenzhen agent can connect you with an employer, who's authorized to hire waigouren ... and can sponsor Z visa." It's not like every 10th person you meet in Shenzhen's hood can sponsor work visa ...  The only way to change student visa to labourer one is just a regular way by: 1. Finding an employer, who'll apply for an Invitation letter; 2. Exit China and apply for Z visa in your home country's Chinese embassy; 3. Enter China in 30-days after Z visa was stamped into your travelling instrument ...As I am aware, you won't be able to switch to Working permit by remaining in China....,so make ready for a return to your home .... -- icnif77
