Q: Is China REALLY a Communist country?

I know China's ruled by the Communist party, but sometimes I feel like it's more capitalist than the states. Why do they still say they're a communist party? I'm writing a paper on this so it'd be great to hear some responses. =)

Capitalist countries are run by by big business. They donate money for election funds, lobby for what they want. Basically big business do what they want and the government is behind them. Take the tobaco industry. If there were no cigarettes in the world and I thought it might be something I can sell, there is no way I would be allowed to. But because that industry has so much money they can carry on. Russia was Communist, it always had supply problems, but had a triving black market. Basically everyone wants more than what they have, some more than others, and the more you have the more you want, so I guess I'll ask what is your definition of a Capitalist? A simple life is what many westerns yurn for, no stress. I think life is always greener on the other side.
I understand what Communism is supposed to be, but I think no government is perfect. Government, ideals, principals are all nice ideas, but we have a saying '' that money makes the world go around".
