Q: China to South Korea by ferry. Who has done it?

Apparently there is an overnight ferry from Qingdao to South Korea and from Shanghai to South Korea.  Has anyone taken this ferry?  It looks less expensive than a plane.

i do the ferry from qingdao twice a year, runs from 700 to 1200 depending on the company , boat size and comfort. leave at dusk and get a sleeper and be there the next morning. you can have a chinese friend book the boat on internet in advance.
