Good bad or just .................
It depends on the person and the dye job. If it looks like a strange color, or it's not flattering, of course it's not good. If a Chinese person can pull off the blonde look, I think it looks nice.
My friend (American) had a child with his Chinese wife and the boy looks exactly like the mother except for a head of curly blond hair. It is a very strange look, but it works for the kid.
I just don't like blonde on Chinese , and the dye job is always terrible.
Really bad, looks like a blonde white girl who fried herself in the Sun. I think that style is ugly!
I applaud it as it shows a sense of "individuality" which one rarely sees.
C'mon, get it right! It's not blonde, it's yellow hair. Maybe will be even better if they can add the blue tinted contact lenses
Sometimes I wonder why people go crazy for blond hair, especially someone with natural black hair. Once I had a friend (a girl) from Iran with such a pretty black hair. In my eyes it suited perfectly. After one week she came with a blond hair and she looked like a oddball trying to turn her to a monkey. I mean I didn't find it nice look rather it was like a sore to eyes. Anyway, it was her decision.
I find similar cases with Chinese also. Majority of the Chinese skin (no offense) simply doesn't match to blond hair as long as it is natural. (It is just a personal opinion.) May be they have a bad choice of color or bad dye job, which doesn't look like natural blond color.
To each his/her own. It's not for me to decide what is good or bad.
Asian hair is HARD to bleach, and such much natural red pigment in it that it turns various shades of orange before yellow. Getting it to a "natural" looking blonde is near impossible because it often takes several processes of bleach. Asian hair is stronger than Caucasian hair and can take more bleaching, but it isnt usually strong enough to stand enough bleach to get it to a natural looking blonde before it starts breaking and splitting the shaft and other damage.
I worked my way through college as a licensed cosmetologist.
That being said, Asian hair, IMHO, generally looks horrid when bleached. I love Asian hair with blues and purples and pinks and reds streaked or tipped in, and even yellows and oranges as high lights, for fun. But doing the whole head? Ugh.
