PERSONALLY, because foreign women love Chinese men less,love foreign men more. BUT,foreign men love foreign women less, but they love Chinese women more.

that is also why, nowadays, a certain foreign women avoid /control their boyfriends/husbands to come to china.....

our Chinese men are more traditional,and they prefer also Chinese women!

Well,I must say foreign men is more charming than most chinese men,And also people looks diffrent attract each other.As a chinese girl,I prefer dating foreign men,if there has more chariming men out there,why not choose the better looking one?

Leaving aside all the cliche's and stereotypes maybe it's because 95% of expats (foreigners) in China are men...just a thought.

I like Chinese guys, but none said they liked me. I think there are a lot of girls who like Asian guys, but they are too shy to say hello. We expect the guy to say hi first, but a lot of Chinese guys are shy and only know English if they live in a big city. Also, I like guys with nice hair, and more Chinese guys have nice hair and sometimes nicer clothes than guys back home. That's just my opinion though, everyone finds different things attractive.

Chinese guys are either too shy to even speak at all or approach foreign women in a far too clingy sense.

It's all about first impressions.

I don't see many foreign men or women, but I see so many many Chinese women, What are my odds at dating a Chinese woman? 4 billion women that look exotic to me. I think most foreigners are men, so who are they going to date, Chinese women.

actually we can not generalize or stereotype people by answering.judging be different points of views is kind of useless...ask if i am asking ..........are all foreigners playboys in china?....actually not ....we are not all that....but we have been generalized like that....cause there is no sense of differentiation in some people

I would like to think that culture is the main issue here. There are a lot of differences between western way of living and the chinese way. And this is a fact and not to be read as a critic. I think Chinese mentality is still too attached to the past. The example of this is the fact that there are a lot of Chinese beautiful girls on this site, single. Why? Maybe they want to be more than just the traditional Chinese girl (housewife, husband carer, men dependent girls with the idea that he should provide for the house while they clean, cook and take care of the kids). And because of this maybe they will not be seen so well by traditional Chinese guys. This creates a shock of cultures. Also will apply to the foreigner women. They would not fit with a man with narrow minded ideas. THERE ARE  EXCEPTIONS so please don't generalize my answer.

Chinese men vs. Chinese women? I pick the Chinese women.

Because Chinese men knows that Chinese women are the most beautiful and best women on this planet, so Chinese men just choose Chinese girl.

Why not choose the better one?

Even foreigners indirect admits that, thats why they want a chinese girl!

A very large number of foreigners in China will be young single men. Looking for their first teaching jobs or transfering in a big company. 

              So, naturally and with great probability they will meet Chinese women in China.
