She's got it bad. Really bad. Any tips would be appreciated...

I've always heard to eat ginger. Any form, even ginger snaps or gingerbread cookies...

Thanks. Sometimes she just pukes all day and can't really work up an appetite.
Try gancao, it is known as liquorice, you can buy it at at pharmacy store and it looks like little pieces of wood. It does not taste that bad and you are supposed to chew it for a while.
Another idea is to smell lemon after waking up in the morning, or eat some crackers before leaving the bed.
Hope it helps!
Research has set up that licorice tea can calm the stomach and relieve mild nausea.
Arrowroot Biscuits are good to settle the Stomach
also dry food and soda water helps
... not completly unrelated. Morningsickness is more common for woman who will have an otherwise healthy pregnancy. Maybe knowing that can cause some comfort
My appetite is not that good in the morning as well, especially in summer, porridge really helps me.
In addition to ginger and licorice, try peppermint. That helps some people. There are also (supposedly) pressure points on the inside of the wrist that can soothe nausea when pressed.
Avoid strong smells if you can, since that can trigger nausea. (Things like smoke, exhaust, food smells, body odor, perfumes, soaps, garbage and musty odors...)
Other than that, just let her work her way through it. It should only last a couple of months. Make sure she stays hydrated, and keep sickness bags/recepticals handy because she can go from "I feel OK" to "HWORF" in an instant. (and without notice)
I've also heard good things about ginger, peppermint, etc. Thanks guys, we'll give 'em a go. The strong smells are unavoidable...TIC (This Is China). Her sense of smell is completely amazing, and she smells things that I can't even smell when I'm healthy.
Definitely heard good things about morning sickness meaning that the baby is healthy. I was initially afraid the baby wasn't getting enough nutrients, and neither was she, but she can usually eat after getting sick, and she can usually keep it down. We got her on some pregnancy vitamins too.
And Indedipal is definitely right about "I feel OK" to "HWORF" (though, in her case, it's like "GWARRRHWUUUUUUCK"). What seems to be helping her is sugarcane. She loves that stuff, and I verified online that it's okay for pregnant women. She's also sleeping like crazy, so I don't want to travel around too much.
So, after much research, and consulting doctors, etc., it seems that you're basically all correct. Thanks so much!
philbravery:
Pholic acid is good for them
it comes in tablet form
you should be able to get it at a pharmacy

Yep! We have that too! Got some American prenatal vitamins last month.
