Q: Chinese people immune from bad food?

I know foreign get sick easy in China, soemtimes even after liveing long time here. Even other asians get sick, but not Chinese. Many of us say we become immune to these things. Do you think true? Since we eat from very little, our bodies adapt?

Not sure I would say immune, but they are definitely more well adapted to the "cuisine" here.  I've known a few Chinese to come down with a nice case of the squirts.  Gutter oil takes some getting used to..........

I think you're just better at recognizing what you shouldn't eat.

I've been at restaurants where my Chinese friend's won't touch a dish.  When I ask why, they say "there is something dirty in it."

They're immune? Then why do some of them routinely spend a hour on the toilet? Immune?

Definitely not immune, in fact I would say sometimes they get more sick than we do.  Since they don't regularly exercise or take vitamins, their immune system can be really lacking.  My Chinese roommate would regularly come down with stomach bugs, colds, and headaches and I only had this problem a few times.

immune means completely and totally resistant. chemicals in the food also manifest in ways unseen. affecting the brain killing brain cells. look at the behavior of the people and you will understand they are not immune.

My gf eats everything from street food to disgusting animal parts regularly and she is always sick.  I am never sick but also don't eat the crap she does....so.....my guess is I would be just as sick if I partook as well.

Of course they are NOT immune!

Generally they are REALLY OUT of KNOWLEDGE that this foods from vendors on the streets, are JUST UNSAFE and UNHEALTHY to eat.  In same restaurant as well.

They  got sick easily more than foreigner peoples.

Don't you guys noticied them go to hospital frequentelly?

And some of them even desapear  from the crownd?

My friend explained to me that when they got ill,  and in most of the time they can't pay for the hospital expense. Because require long term treatment and so on.  And the solution is go back to hometown....

Many people wich I know said:  it's are part of our culture,  eat any where WITHOUT   WORRY about the QUALITY....In other hand few others said:  "WHOS can  AFFORD  choose QUALITY  foods?? HEALTH ones??  Such as OLIVE OIL, BROWN RICE,  BIO OATS, GREE VEGETABLES, etc...etc...ect..."

Let's we keep in mind this is a culture differences matters..............
