Q: Chinese summer fashion 2013...barf

Well, I wasn't expecting the catwalks of Paris when I arrived, but apart from the horrific 'fashion' hairstyles that all look the same, there are of late 2 fashion trends I have noticed that must be this years summer fashion!

Serious amount of day-glo clothing and fluorescent shirts galore!

Couples wearing matching T-shirts. AAAAH! I thought Matching shell suits and track suits were bad enough in the early 1990's! The nightmare has returned!

Any other chinese fashion own goals this summer 2013?

Just as long as the skirts stay short.

I'm liking the low necklines, since my window overlooks a street, and I can see wht color bra they've got. And what's in it.

Fashion is not dictated by our tastes, (and certainly not mine at age 50). But, if you think the youth of today (Chinese or not) look ridiculous I would advise you just look back at your  youth; for me, when I was a young teenager I was a biker / rocker, long hair et al, (I still love the bikes and the music but the hair had to go), then when I really discovered women I became a New Romantic I wore make up, outrageous capes the works.

No, looking back I have absolutely NO room to comment on modern fashion.

Right there with you.  Though, I never did the make-up thing.  But head-banging long hair and enough leather to get me admitted to any biker/bad boy gay club, for sure.

merchandizer that sell fashion had their orders designed and made a year ago.

people dont set fashion trends when you buy, the store buyers decided what is available for you to wear and buy a year ago.

people actually never consider your clothes are not your decision anymore.

I hate all the clothes here. And the bras. You guys might not know this, being guys, but if you go bra shopping, 95% of what the shop sells is triple-stuffed insanity that can make any A-cup into an instant, and fairly convincing, C-cup or more. If you already have your own breasts, forget about it!
And that day-glo yellow and gray crap with see-thru shoes...*hurk*....

Hugh.G.Rection:

I know I'm a man, and so this may seem a strange comment, but I'll try to be 'delicate'. I know from experience that a lot of women with small breasts have prominent and very sensitive nipples, and apparently this is more pronounced in many Asian women. Padded bras, apart from the cosmetic 'virtues' also prevent those nipples from being obvious through the outer garment and minimise the discomfort that can come from the sensitivity.

Be that as it may, turning an A-cup into a DD-cup is an atrocity. It must be so disappointing for a man to take someone with a bra like that home!

Incidentally, my friend told me about a time he tooka Chinese girl (who appeared to be well-endowed) home with him, and discovered that she had not just one, but TWO extremely padded push-up bras on under her clothes! Good lord....

Short short skirts/shorts.

Bare legs.

Open toed shoes.

High heeled sandals.

To quote the fast food place "I'm luvin' it!!!"

GuilinRaf:

EDIT:

Coules wearing matching clothes DO give me the dry heaves if I am on an empty stomach....

short skirts with shorts underneath them.  Yuck!

Shorts under a short skirt looks really bad.

Tight panties I won't forget. Now that is a fashion statement !

A:Good question!  I'd say, if you study at Uni in China beside working full-time as an E.T. with Residence permit, you don't interfere with your full-time employment. It's your free time and you can do anything you want, with respect to the Chinese laws and customs. Have a look at terms of Z visa/Residence permit and ... ".. you cannot work (and earn monies!) with another employer ..."That's all it is! Your RP sponsor title is written on the RP stamp in your passport, I think. It's in Mandarin, so I've heard about that from someone ...At I.D.-ing by cops, they know where you work and than more details about you are just a phone call away ... and it happened in person ... LOL ... during the day-time stroll through Wulumuqi, Xinjiang, 2012/13 semester. Now under RP, you're free to surf Internet, jog, ... and study, too. I suggest, you look and ask at the Uni, you plan to study in the future. Have a detailed look at requirements for studying and attending chosen Uni.Good luck! -- icnif77
