Q: Coats with a fur collar are quite popular in China. Would you wear one here?

I've got a Sheepskin coat, with a wool collar, no problem wearing it. However I wouldn't wear an animal fur from a non domesticated animal.

Because we have as humans subjected some animals,which were all wild,to a life of slavery,does it make us more humane too just wear their types of fur as clothing

Thing is, those enslaved animals, (how about that for an incredibly over egged attempt at emotionalising the comment), would not exist in their current form were it not for their being domesticated.
I have no problem eating meat, (indeed I won't have any meal unless there is some meat involved), and I have no problem with killing animals in order to ensure humans survive. I just don't agree with killing wild animals purely for their fur/ skin / random bits (e.g. paws, fins etc), now, if you are going to kill a wild animal, and eat it, then use it's fur that too is fine by me, so long as the wild animal is not endangered, as we have to husband the resources the planet has to offer as there is no realistic chance of the majority of us leaving this planet under the current laws of physics as we understand them.
Fur is heavy, I like light weight coats. If fur is worn for warmth, the fur should be facing inside, like eskimos wear. The fur hold the heat in.
