Q: Coffee in the office?

Do people in your office look at you funny when you wash coffee pots in the toilet sink? I think our office is the only one to do it because we are the only one with foreigners...

They look at me funny when I am not opening my foldable bed in the middle of the alleyway hence blocking the path to take a nap after lunch.

Then they complain when I leave 1 hour before them because I have done at noon the work that they did not do as they were taking a nap.

Where I work, we have a lunch/rest area. It's the size of an office, with a sink dedicated to dish washing, microwaves, fridge, water dispenser, coffee, tea, etc. Many have their lunch there and wash their stuffs. It's always clean, because we pay someone to clean everyday.

When I was working at a university, no such luxury. I did like you, I washed my mug in the toilets. The toilets were dirty (nobody flush, aiming problems, no soap), but the sink was good enough, and I had my own soap. Nobody ever cared about this or anything else. I think most people washed their tea pots, mugs, etc. at home.
