Q: Contracdiction throughs about being more professional

I am trying to grown to be a better manager. But there are two contradiction throughts in my mind to stop me from making decision.

The assistant went to tell the boss for getting out of my management and the boss agreed then I found she still did not know how to write proper business emails to interact with foreign customers. She achieved no sales after 11 monthes working here. The boss can not read English and does not have much skill for writting good business emails. I could see her emails from alibaba platform and the emails have big problem.But my boss told me to stay out to not manage her so she'll be happy and won't quit. Should I give my help for teaching her how to answer customers or just stay out of it and watch her die so the boss will realize that he needs me to train the sales?

This afternoon, she is asking the 3D design guy to help fill an English parcel delivery form after she's got off work at 5:30pm. The 3D guy and I normally got off later than her. Speaking of professionalism, she should ask me for help for filling the English form for parcel delivery to avoid mistake as the 3D guy had no related experience and I assume that he does not know English much too.

Should I offer to help her work out because it is company work? Or just stay out of it and if some mistakes happen, the words may spread, and the boss would need me to give more support and which will be better for my future management here?

I was watching a "The Brady Bunch" rerun today in the USA today.."The Brady Bunch" is a TV sitcom from the 70's...a more innocent time for American television..

Anyways...Marsha, the elder sister, has a job at an ice cream shop. She does great. The Boss loves her. The Boss wants time-off to enjoy life, so Marsha suggests hiring her brother, Peter. The Boss agrees. Peter gets hired but Peter is a terrible worker so Marsha has to fire him. Peter is upset and accuses Marsha of all kinds of conspiracies and underminings of his efforts...Marsha's parents intervene and settle the dispute. Peter forgives Marsha.

Now, Marsha also has a boyfriend but is spending so much time working she never sees him. The boyfriend gets upset so Marsha hires Jan, her younger sister, to take Peter's position at the ice scream shop. Jan does very well and the Boss notices this.

One day Marsha's boyfriend comes into the ice cream store with another girl. Marsha becomes distracted and her work suffers so much so that when the day comes that the Boss must get rid of one of his workers, he decides to let Marsha go instead of Jan.

So there's Marsha. No job. No boyfriend.

Marsha....Marsha...Marsha....So sad

Then out of the blue her boyfriend calls and aplogizes..he was just trying to get her jealous....Marsha is happy again...all is forgiven. END SHOW

So I was watching this show and I thought: "Viki87"

If you really do not not know how to handle this then it just proves you are not capable of being a manager. This is a very easy situation to solve and you clearly do not have a clue.

You are right. I should give up managing this company. Because of what? The boss is a piece of shit. Did he give me respect? Mostly don't. He's just a narrow minded peasant.

He agreed to make the sample truck for the customer at 85rmb, then after a period time when the customer sent the 85rmb over. He denied he ever agree to make the customized sample with customer's design for only 85rmb. Then he kept blaming on me for being a no brainer to charge only 85rmb.

I do not why he changed and denied what he just agreed. Maybe he forgot or misunderstood what I asked, but he serious has understanding problem as I can see on many things.

I am so fed up with an emotional idiot boss.

BTW: Thinking of making money on making a sample truck is stupid. wtf He'll never be a big business man. The customer showed interest on making sample, the chance of making a sale is high. If I own the business, I'll just take a risk and pay the factory to make a sample if the customer doesn't want to pay. Usually if the customer wants a sample with their design, the chance to make a sale is much higher than average inquiries.

Just save enough and took some clients and leave this company.

A lot of Chinese boss won't give the manager enough power to manage the sales team.

I no no longer wants to be an employee.

i stole one client and wait for him to pay for the order, and I stole another American client and I'm doing design on making him a sample, I didn't make money on making him a sample, I just gave the same price the factory offered for making sample.
