As for me, I'd like to choose fruit cucumber. I tend to choose the natrual food instead of the processed food. You know, food safety is also a concern. I am not sure of the various additives in the colas.
In hot weather, the fruits of the season are the best choose for people to cool off and quench the thirst.
My roommates and I will always buy cucumber when it's hot outside, and we take it as our dinner, haha

It's amazing i know! I noticed the day the a/c at our flat would break down. We had to go a whole day without a/c, it was terrible! Well it was hot so of course i would go and drink a soda, but my Chinese girlfriend would go in the fridge and crunch on that cucumber! It was really hot because she chewed on it like her life depended on it.

When she finished swallowing, she understood from my shocked face that i was of course wondering why she wouldn't be drinking soda, and she explained to me it thirst quench moar than a soda. She then put the cucumber in my face, apparently she wanted me to try.

I refused because well, nothing beats a soda!
