But maybe there is some paperwork in getting the marriage registered in China afterwards. It may or may not be a better idea to get married in China (first)
Also, you would need to check up on how you prove that your GF is eligible to marry you. Other countries have laws on being single to marry. Maybe obtaining such documentation from China could involve the hukou
If she is marrying outside of China, she doesn't need her Hukou. Please note that you will need to get the marriage certificate notarized by a Notary Public in your country. Thereafter, you will need to get the notarized marriage certificate authenticated in your country's Chinese Embassy before it is recognized in China. There is no need to re-register the marriage in China.
