Q: Could you imagine how crazy eyewitness news in China would be?
I noticed since coming home the kind of stupid crap that makes local news, but happens everyday in China because of the sheer population. My wife always makes jokes about how there's so many fires here. But, that's just cause a fire is actual news cause in a city of 2.4 million what the hell else would possibly make the news?!
But could you imagine what eyewitness style news would be like in China? I picture a half an hour dedicated to pedestrians being run over alone.
They don't have those here? Well, I have no boobtube in the house, so I must be living under a Chinese rock. A poisonous rock, obviously.
When I had a satellite subscription back home with DirecTV, I think I saw quite a few eyewitness reports.
Just the other day I recorded a fight near the CBD area. Apparently, the two guys were fighting over an oversized fat wallet that one of the rogue's pulled out. Civilians and security guards just standing around watching them. Kind of odd actually. I thought it might have been a prank at first because one guy just kept talking and the other guy was holding onto his leg like a Koala bear. Just minutes earlier another guy took off running.
It could have been one of two things. Either they were buddies who stole the wallet from somebody and one of the guys tried to keep it all to himself. Or they found the wallet and started fighting over it.
