First, it's just another LTC with claims to a special method for children.

Helen Doron is a rather beautiful blond-haired British Jewess who lives in Israel these days.  The Helen Doron method (and her schools cater to little, little children) is hardly academic at all.  Her method is something that she picked up on a kibbutz in Israel, basically a derivative of the Habonim method for small children. You will sing and dance and color much more than usual and she is about as far removed from Mme Montessori as possible.  It is just essentially Shabbat playtime type of activities.  The classes usually happen in the mid-to-late afternoons, not late in the evening, and during daylight hours on the weekend.

She has a good business model going for herself and her schools.  The little tykes are happy and well-taken care of but in China, it's all going to depend upon the particular school and particular franchise.  The salaries her schools pay here are mid-level, not good, not bad but if you are lucky, you will end up in a warm, happy, nurturing environment.  One of my colleagues worked there for a year and left (she hated the particular boss) and another is still there.
