Q: Is the crackdown on sex trade in China just for show?

1. Prostitution and sex trade racks in enormous amounts of money
2. It's a draw for businessmen and investors

Are the raids and pictures we see everywhere of women shying away from cameras in nightclubs, etc. just a publicity stunt?

they make "examples' every now and then to show that they are fighting it. the bar owners probably didn't pay the local police so they got busted.

Yes it's smoke and mirrors, pullies and levers... You'll notice they NEVER punish the men only the women. Also has anyone ever noticed the proximity of Massage parlors, sex SPA's to military bases and police stations, I actually inquired in Guangzhou about the buildings as they were so close... Guess who owned the building and in some cases the business itself?? They only shake down their competition it seems.... I think it's disgusting how they treat the women and let the men leave out the back door (likely officials or cops) yet the locals think it's foreigners that use these place... Don't they understand, we're offered this all day we don't need to go to a rub 'n tug!!! Laughing out loud Laughing out loud

basically, the people who own the whorehouses or sex nightclubs always have connections with police and goverment officers. most of them are realatives and friends. if you are not, you will be banned immediately. so , in most china citys police crack down sex trade only for show. they won't arrest the pimps and the big boss.

Guangzhou... Sit in any Starbucks, McDonalds, walk down the street, sit in a Mall, dude, you could be a quadruple amputee with a face that looks like a bag of smashed assholes and a nasty attitude and be pushing 80 years old and still get laid by not paying for it!!! Laughing out loud Laughing out loud Of course anything better than that it just gets embarrassing the amount of attention we're given... I'm completely jaded now when talking to local ladies, it's all "yah, whatever..." FYI this doesn't reflect on Guangdong women either, these ladies are from all corners of the middle kingdom! Laughing out loud
