Q: Culture Shock....Did you have more culture shock since you been home?

I have had more of s shock coming home to my small town that is full of people in their own houses who rarely ever get out to socialize. I am counting days to go back. How about you?

I am the same, come from a small town in the UK and last time I went back the thing that really got to me was how neat and tidy it was. Like you say everyone home in their own houses with a neat tidy garden out front. Not many people out on the street, what seemed like very little traffic. After a while it really began to grate and I'm still not sure why. I guess I have acclimatized more quickly than I thought I would. Plenty of things bug me here but in some ways I do miss the place when I am back there.

I am home now, its been a week...3 more weeks to go...Good to see relatives and some friends (not many left here)...Problem is not much to do...People just look for a reason to get wasted...LOL
But the food ahhhhhhh, I can have all the bread, cheese, chocolate, yogurt, olives etc etc etc...I will miss that
