let the parents see you and decide whether you are fit for her long term spouse or not . if the parents likes you and are nice to you with out changing their facial expression then you have succeed and the girl is your bride than. it just show the parents whether they accept you his boyfriend or not.... and future husband
Very very serious relationship. Or she is proud of parents, and want you to meet them. Language barrier sometime is issue, so as long as you drink and laugh (not too loudly though) it is ok. And if you temrinate relation, you won't see'em anymore!
Unless you don't enjoy anonymous meaningless causual sex and trade it for disapproval from her parents for marrying a laowai and endless comparison to other people's sons/sons-in-law, etc. and the expectation that you will provide green cards for the entire family (in the braodest sense) as well as providing financial supports for the said family------ RUN.
Agreed with SITC. It means she would like the family recognize the relationship between you. She is serious about it and will be ready to marry you if suitable.
What Xerxes said, in China before you can marry the parents literally have to say yes, with an approval stamp from the local authority with her fathers signature. It also means you have probably been seeing her for more than 6 months and in Chinese terms it's time to get married or find someone else
It means that your days of being single are about to end.
