Q: Dealing with pollution
I'm living in Beijing at the moment and obviously the pollution is pretty heavy out here, we all know about wearing masks and stuff but does anyone have any little tips that others might not know about for minimizing the damage?

Yeah, here are a few:
- Getting a good indoor air filter
- Quit smoking (pollution is already bad enough)
- Get daily exercise to help strengthen your lungs & heart
- Take in more liquids, fruits and vegetables. I would say vitamin pills as well to give your immune system a little boost.
I saw title of the article yesterday, that Chinese developed some 'smog-destroying-tower'.
I'll c&p as soon as I find it.

BEIJING: A Dutch artist opened what he calls the world's largest air purifier in Beijing on Thursday (Sep 30), beginning the first leg of a China tour to raise awareness of environmental problems.
The seven-metre-high Smog Free Tower, part of the Smog Free Project started by artist and innovator Daan Roosegaarde, creates a "bubble of clean air enabling citizens to experience clean air for free," according to his website.
The tower captures and collects more than 75 percent of airborne smog particles that have diameters of 2.5 microns and 10 microns and releases clean air around the structure.

I think it was some Swedish or German guy... it turns pollution into gems.
They sell the gems to continue running the anti-smog towers.
