Q: Did China make you into a jackass?

I noticed that before I left for China... I was only a partial jackass.

But when I came back from China... I feel like a total jackass...

Did China do this to me?

Do you feel more like  a jackass now that you had lived in China for a while?

There is no cure, deal with it.

China has taught me how to control my anger and how to accept stupidity and walk away.

Robk:

But I can't accept stupidity...

I can tolerate it... to a point but I can never accept it.

Stupid people, are by far, the biggest problem with this world.

So true. China is best country for Anger management with their dumb rules and social behavioral patterns. Acting like dumb to them is the only way to deal with it that I found. Indonesia - second in the chart, but it's more like challenge how to survive in jungle as Maugli. And then India which will teach you how to not give a fuck about anything, because it's too bad, there're no rules which can handle anything.  Vietnam taught me how to drive motorcycle with 95% of people driving like drunk, but still always wearing their helmets. Each country teaches you something. You either make love with it or get f*cked.

A: "... through ..."?  Only "through" comes to mind is "Shenzhen agent can connect you with an employer, who's authorized to hire waigouren ... and can sponsor Z visa." It's not like every 10th person you meet in Shenzhen's hood can sponsor work visa ...  The only way to change from student to labourer visa is just a regular way by: 1. Finding an employer, who'll apply for an Invitation letter; 2. Exit China and apply for Z visa in your home country's Chinese embassy; 3. Enter China in 30-days after Z visa was stamped into your travelling instrument ...As I am aware, you won't be able to switch to Working permit by remaining in China....,so make ready for a return to your home .... -- icnif77
