Apologies for the language, but I remember Easter Eggs being called something like "Satan's testicles" and was today passing a house church as it was ending the Easter sermon. Everyone was leaving the place with a plastic bag with eggs.
Is this a Chinese take on spending the Church budget?
(don't get me wrong, I know the use of eggs are traditional in many countries, my own included, it just has jack all to do with religion)
truth is, kind sir, I am doing my best to ignore all holidays .... both \chinese (total 3 months a year) and "western" ( another 3 months) .........I cannot afford 6 months a year off, and I refuse to argue with my family...so they can have their holidays ... both sides of the Pacific....leave me out of it....... go ahead, call me Grinch.
so I like/appreciate the Satan's testicles analogy that I have never heard of either...devil made me do it
I drank too much devil juice. So good day for me.......
The eggs on Easter have everything to do with religion. Unfortunately it's the wrong religion. They should have taken those eggs to their local Fertility God temple. Oh well, this is today's "Christianity".
HA! Everytime I read the title my brain reads it as "Did you play with Santa's Testicles yoday."
