I didn't. Seems to be something that exists only in the foreign press.

big time yes ..... my son is thinking about coing her in a couple weeks end of June..... and I keep telling him about the 3 T's ...... he always rubs it off as no big deal......like I used to ......................... not a good thing to mention at all when coming here for the first time............... he keeps threatening to test it ......NO ..no No ...... typical brat kid 20 y.o.
I've had many tell me that the government had to send in the troops to stop a riot. And they actually believe it. Brainwashing is endemic in China.
I met a taxi driver who talked about it once.
He said he was there, and what we might have heard somewhere was all lies.

I saw an image online today which amused a bunch of Chinese people. It was that iconic image we all know, but the harmonious lawful vehicles were replaced by giant rubber ducks. That level of detachment is a little bit upsetting. As an American, it'd be similar to replacing the hijacked 9/11 planes with plastic dinosaurs, or something.

I sent a txt to my friends saying "on this day in history nothing happened."
Thought about bringing it up....but then decided it wasn't really worth the effort of trying to reverse 24 years of doctrine.
