Q: different diploma certificate

I have been working for this private school for last one year(ESL).Although I have a proper degree certificate, school

somehow chose to submit a fake one to process my employment permit as I was not having the original

with me and they were somehow in a hurry. They did it without informing me.I acquired the original certificae by post after a month. But,it was not required anymore!!! I am not sure what else was submitted on my behalf ..

Now,if I switch to another school in future and produce my actual diploma certificate to labour bureau, will that be a problem. Will labour bureau maintain any old record and try to match it with my genuine degree certificate.

Any idea or experience on this guys !

It's really hard to answer this question. Because you'll have to show the original one in some bigger cities and I'm not sure if they're going to compare this information to a computer with past info on it while looking at your degree at the same time.

I think thou art fucked.  How can you not know who used a phony diploma in your name? I suggest you just tell the truth to your next employer and take your chances.

" degree certificate,school"

This leads me to believe that you do not have a Bachelor Degree. I have always submitted scanned copies with no problems.

If you do not have an actual BA/ BS  you will not qualify for the visa or  FEC. No matter how many certs you have or how outstanding you think they are.

So that makes it ok for the school to use forged documents, especially with you knowing about? That is the dumbest thing.

As an individual you are ultimately responsible for yourself.. That includes what others do in your name and on your behalf (that you know).

For those scumbags who come here and purposefully try to break the law or undercut the requirements make us all look bad. This is what the CCP uses as their excuse to go after teachers  who work here legally.

I came to China last year and I was not aware of  'things' here.Indeed,I have a BA degree which I can proudly present to any entity if required.I graduated in 2007 .But I am not sure  what school has presented last year. When asked for a raise, they told me I may face problems if I switch job.So I should stay with them !!!

Anyways, enough ESL and enough adventure .I have decided to go back next month.I have got a offer back home. This issue doesn't matter to me anymore.Appreciate your response.I'll miss Chinese food !

They didnt always keep Degree's on record. for example, I submitted mine in 2009 and it was approved. then in 2013 I had to submit it again and It was refuted... I had to get it certified, which i did. then all was ok.   But in your case... depends which way the wind blows i fear...

A: "... through ..."?  Only "through" comes to mind is "Shenzhen agent can connect you with an employer, who's authorized to hire waigouren ... and can sponsor Z visa." It's not like every 10th person you meet in Shenzhen's hood can sponsor work visa ...  The only way to change from student to labourer visa is just a regular way by: 1. Finding an employer, who'll apply for an Invitation letter; 2. Exit China and apply for Z visa in your home country's Chinese embassy; 3. Enter China in 30-days after Z visa was stamped into your travelling instrument ...As I am aware, you won't be able to switch to Working permit by remaining in China....,so make ready for a return to your home .... -- icnif77
