Q: Ding bounced...World Championships cancelled!

At least they will be in China. Chinese TV's track record isn't good in this regard. Chinese suffering defeat in a major event has the knock on effect of ceasing the telecast.

The snooker world champs have just begun and will go on for a fortnight. But Ding getting pinged on day one isn't good news for us snooker lovers.

Or am I just being pessimistic in believing rampant nationalism will cause the telecast to be dumped?

Come on CCTV...prove me wrong!
