Q: Dinner etiquette question?
So, we're sitting an having dinner. A mosquito lands on my mother in laws forehead. What to do.
Do I smack it, do I let it bite her, do I tell her? I was torn.
If you could pick between only these two options, what would you pick ?
1. Smack her
2. Let it bite
Having picked 1 or 2, do you realistically see other options ?
Tell her there is a 'Japanese' mosquito on your forehead needs to be smacked. She will strike her head to the dinning table'.
Tell her simply.

I picked 'other' option. If limited to 1 and 2, I ll pick 2 being afraid of retaliation. You can't explain in case of 2.... :)

From other threads your MIL sounds like a bad person, let it bite her then smack her,
My Mil would whip it off her forehead with her tounge before it had a chance to bite.

How often do you think you can use the mosquito trick to smack her?

I was thinking pretty often. I just need a drop of ketchup on my hand once in a while, so it looks like I killed the bugger. (mosquito that is)
3. Creative usage of those electric mosquitoes frying racket things.

it's not strong enough, I accidentally zapped the dog once, thus had to try it myself to see what amount of treats I needed to make it up to the dog. It's far from anything that could be "useful" on the MIL. I only gave the dog half a meatball (Scandinavian style) for his troubles.
Maybe...... IS THERE AN ELECTRONICS ENGINEER IN THE ROOM.... the thing could be supercharged to work more like a tazer than a fun way of killing small flying bugs.

I think the high-voltage is made with a capacitor. Replace the puny capacitor with a supercapacitor, and your mosquito frying racket might work on larger lifeforms.
