Q: The direct train from Beijing to Hanoi..who has taken it recently?

There is a thrice-weekly train from Beijing to Hanoi.  Who has taken it recently?  Where does one get the tickets in Beijing?  Is it worth the trip?

I'd assume you'd be getting the tickets at the train station. And if you want to find out if it's worth it you'd have to factor the sites you would see, and also how comfortable the ride would be. That's for you to decide.
