I was thinking that since there is no election here in China then is there any Chinese student study Psephology or not? Especially the students who are doing their major in Political Science.

There isn't even a Chinese translation of the word and a good number of searches that lead to it on baidu are not "available".
I certainly don't study elections........ don't study anything, but sometimes contemplate what to have for dinner or should I get some beer today............... VOTING, however does inspire me and now that I am confident that we have started a new era....... Voting for the great moments and visions of eChinacities members, I hope will begin soon, in order that we may commemorate the bygone era.
It is possible that some political science students may study psephology, but your question embraces speculation. Who knows?
But why would Chinese people study psephology when they don't vote? It may be part of a foreign political systems class which is, of course, more guessing.
Who knows?
Try turning the question on it's head and you may enlighten yourself.
Do students in democracies study dictatorships and other non-democratic systems?
Okay, time for truth. Am I the only one who had to Google "Pesphology" to know what it meant? On first glance I thought it was a weird misspelling of "Psychology".
The only thing about elections that I find intriguing is that people actually believe that voting on something makes a difference.

Pogger, the OP isn't Chinese, I think. He is either a Bangladeshi or Pakistani or Indian or something like that -- decidedly not Chinese. I also had to google the word and when I searched on baidu, the entries were quite few.
