Negative.
You are free to post as many comments, to as many answers as your heart desires. If points were awarded for each comment you make, I'd end up spending my entire working day packaging and sending off rewards.
We do, however, have plans to implement another option or two for people to get points.
Will you have to delete your own "bumpity bump" comment since it didn't directly attempt answer the question
to answer your question,,Yes cats love attention,, as I am an expert in the cat world,, I'm a MCBFA member,,,national winning cattery,,, cats love attention,, all animals have the same emotional needs and desires ad we do. Cats evolved to live with us, to share our lives and for mutual gradification. Cats enjoy a good, pat, scratch or a nice massage. They are the only animal that purr and we humans think it has a pleasing calming effect.
Research has shown other oher benifts from purring. The type of frequencies that are found in the cat's purr are good for healing muscle, tendon, and ligament injuries, as well as for muscle strengthening and toning. They are good for any type of joint injury, wound healing, reduction of infection and swelling, pain relief, and relief of chronic pulmonary disease.
Animals have so much more than we have. As humans we are limited by what we're able to see, hear, and smell. Our senses are nowhere near as keen as those of a dog or a cat.
I must add and encourage that all cats not used for breeding purposes be neutered. And those that are only be allowed to breed for short periods and then neutered. Neutered cats are healthier and happier and live longer lives. Remember Bob Barker say " have your pet spayed or neutered"
