12 years 3 weeks ago in Health & Safety - China
Well on average 2 rhinos are killed illegally in South Africa each day to fulfill the Asian need for some traditional "Vava Voom".
(The powderised horns are believed to have medicinal sexual stimulating affects)
To be fair I think it also goes to other Asian countries as well but most poaching rings that were caught in Africa were tied back to Chinese and some Vietnamese 'investors'.
Jona:
Ive also read that 'street value' for rhino horn has now reached U$65'000/kg making it more valuable than gold, platinum or even cocaine!
medical is advancing with time and much more medicine have been introduced. yes Chinese have turn to these sexual stimulates, with the foreigner increasing in china so Chinese men are feeling a competition, once a Chinese boy mentioned in angry that foreigner shall have not have with Chinese girls because ......... you know that complexes are created. TCM is famous for it ginseng tree is believe to have the chemicals
it depends how educated the Chinese guy is, if he really got sexual dysfunction, he will definitely see a good "western medicine" doctor rather than a traditional doctor....
but most of men think they are not performant enough on bed, so they turn to stimulants and drugs, whether the drug is herbal or chemical, it does not matter, as long as they are psychologically and mentally confident in their sexual life~~
A typical traditional medicine for this is dried sea horse tea. You can see them on sale in almost any pharmacy and in Chinese bars. In the bars, they will be suspended in jars of baiju. (Along with other 'enhancers such as bats, squirrels and deer penis'.)
But the western medicines are also very popular and available over the counter in almost any drug store. I have also seen them for sale in hotel boutiques, bars, KTVs & the occasional barber shop.
With a proven, safe natural herb known as "Ginkgo Biloba" (latin name) or "Yong Xing" or Bai Guo locally, why risk taking Viagra and potential heart problems. After all, all they do is to increase blood circulation........ A tea made from the leaves of the tree will do wonders for heart and lungs, besides increasing blood circulation and getting your antena up.....Also great for those suffering asthma.
