You are actually asking, do all the people out of China believe in god and the same god? So the answer is 'some do, some not'/

I think it's one of those things that got lost during the revolution...

I don't know about personal homes, but most buildings (especially public ones) are designed with fengshui...at least in Shenzhen.  Most have at least 1 big opening through the middle of the building to allow the dragon spirits to fly through....along with other things.

Most of my Chinese friends I have asked about it have never heard of it and give me a funny look...

Many big Chinese bosses they really care the orientations of their chair in the office.
