Q: Do Chinese people treat non-Chinese and other Chinese as equals?
I think it's rare in this world for 'anyone' to truly treat others as equals. I don't look for it for myself from the Chinese or anyone else for that matter. I don't have that kind of time to waste. Well.....I do.....i'd just rather spend it playing on my Xbox.
No,they treat the whites better.

You know what, I actually wanted to point out something along those lines. I cut in front of a guy in traffic the other day and for a moment we nearly rowed, until he saw I was a foreigner, then he suddenly backed up and said "I'm sorry, I didn't realise." That was weird as hell. Made me want to get off my bike and walk.

From what I've gathered; Guangdong people treat migrant workers as less, and vica versa the northies mock the cantonese.
And Shanghai people look down on anyone non-Shanghai.
Just my experience.
And a terrible thing to say but... Chinese seem to favour white people over Africans. (lightly speaking).

In the eyes of most Asians,white guys are much more attractive than Asians in general while it's the opposite when it comes to the girls,that's one reason.The other reason is that most Chinese think the whites are wealthy while Africans are poor.
