Q: Do chinese women become more controlling in time?
I just wondered in a relationship sense, whether Chinese women become more controlling further into the relationship, or whether what you see in the beginning is what you can expect for the future?

I would say, based on my own experience, that what you will see in the first months is what you should expect. But this dos not mean that individual personalities do change, and will largely depend on the age of the particular Lady considered. The older the Lady, the more chances that her upbring was in the "traditional way", so they are more used to the dominant male role in their society.
My GF in particular is now 40 years of age. She has a very set mind, she knows what she wants and what she will be willing to do, and she told me clearly very early in the game. And we negotiated our wants and no-no's to a mutually satisfactory agreement in a mature way. From then on, she is the boss at the house, but I am allowed the last word, even if "Yes dear, as you said". Now, outside the house, I am consulted for any major decisions. I guess it is a question of "face" for her, not for me. I feel we are both equal.
yes... but isnt that the same for all girls?

No, I do not feel ALL GIRLS are the same way. Depending on age and maturity, they will face situations differently. And younger Chinese girls, born and raised in cities, are more liberal and modern minded than older ladies from cities and countryside, which tend to be more subdue and traditional in their ways.
The women start off being sweet and well mannered and then one night you wake up and she is sitting there, mascara running down her face, her head is spinning around and around, then projectile green barking. This is when it's time to pack and get out.
Don't know how many times I've seen this or was it just in a movie, think I was this, lemme check my sheets.

Been married to a wonderful Chinese woman now for over 5 years.
She has been supportive and understanding and I can honestly say, very very repectful. But that is just me. Good luck boys!
