I quit my job on April 1st . The school was refusing to pay my social insurance premiums and taxes . They had also asked me to do thing that were not in my contract such as demo classes. On that day as I had learned that  I can legally quit a job immediately if they dud not pay my social insurance premiums I met with the management and told them that i am aware that they are supposed to be deducting taxes and social insurance premiums from my salary which they were not doing.. After awhile they started yelling at me and as I will not put up with that i told them I am going home and they can find another teacher. The job paid 20000 CNY a month.I do not travel overseas without money. I have an income of  7000 CNY and i have 175000 cny in savings. After a few days they wanted me to give them a resignation letter. I wrote one with my reaso for wanting to quit and they refused to accept it. I stated it was because of taxation reasons. After a few weeks i gave them what they asked in exchange for them paying my final salary minus 7000 yuan. I did not want to agree with this but i figure that if i spend 6 months dealing with this problem I would lose more money. During this time they threaten me with getting the police after me if i do not cooperare with them. I basically they can go middle finger themselves. After I got my salary I bought a ticket to cambodia where my girlfriend lives and left. They have given me the work permit cancellation letter but not the release letter. They tell me they would give me the release letter after I go with them to cancel my residency permit. It is my understanding that they are suppose to give it  to me regardless within 30 days of my last day of work. As I am in Cambodia I am not going to fly to Shenyang to simply cancel a resident pemit. I did find another school which despote paying less offers better hours and is in a warmer city. I am aware that if they cancelled my resident permit i will get an L visa and will have to reapply for a z visa after leaving China. Is the release paper needed at this point or should i simply look for another job as if I had not worked in China before. Honestly my experience working in China has not been very good. The first school i worked for changed my contract after I arrived,. They also paid me late and they fired me after I asked for a sick day . I had a fever and a doctors note.  Can the school I am working for backlist me if I did not return to China so they can cancel my residence permit. They are threatning me  with police telling me I am harrassing and intimidating the school. All I have ever said tothem is to give me my salary and the papers I am entitled to. If they gave these to me I would have been willing to cooperate with them. I am aware that the school has done many things that are illegal. I am aware that the worst i have done was say rude things to their staff via email. If police were to contact me I would simply tell them that I am  willing to cooperate with them once they have given me my papers.  As of now I am in Cambodia so I am aware that I would simply need to restart the process again.
