Q: Do the morning exercises for kids stop during winter?

I live right next to a school, and of course they do the kids exercises in the morning. Which I'm sort of OK with, and my phone alarm is temperamental, so this way I know I will get up. But I think they have been go on longer than usual and also Beijing is beginning to get cold. Will these kids have to head out there every morning throughout winter too??? This just seems cruel to me.

It might depend on the location?

In Hunan province, my wife did them all year long while in school. I remember her telling me on QQ about her morning exercises in the winter as well. I'm unaware as to whether or not kids and college students are required to exercise the same.
