I know second hand smoke is everywhere, but do people smoke around the little ones?

What have I not seeing already in China ?.  Yesterday, riding my ebike, I came across a mama holding a baby on her arm, breastfeeding him while driving happily her ebike down the street with only one hand.

I have seeing 5 persons and two babies riding one motorbike.  And many other amazing feats.

So, smoking in front of, or near a baby, I would dare say is done just about everfywhere, probably including the parents and relatives of the baby.  I am sure that there will be some exceptions, but we are talking about the general rule here, am I right ?.

WOWOWOW! That's some serious talent breast feeding while riding a bike. Scary though :(

Smoking in the same room as babies is quite common, I barely notice it anymore. One thing that does suprise me is the doctor smoking while examining me! This aint Kansas!

All the time. I used to work in a school where the teachers would light a smoke in the hallways, with all the students right there. In the school I'm at now, the non-teaching staff still smokes around campus.

If you know second hand smoke is everywhere than you would know that yes they do smoke around kids and babies. If you want to know where the most common place to find this happening in China go to a local bar or a billiards!

HugAPanda:

Because they take their babies/kids to bars?

A: What are you going to do, if I tell you answer is: 'forever' or 'never
A:What are you going to do, if I tell you answer is: 'forever' or 'never'? Chinese recruiters don't have the same habits as the western recruiters have ... Never stop sending your CV to the job offers, not even when you have an invitation or two for an interview! Don't expect Chinese will send you "Thank you for your application. You weren't selected at this time ...!" notice, so keep sending yer CV to the newly posted job openings. Looking for a job in China was like a part-time job in my time in China ... Good luck! -- icnif77
