Q: Do they allow dogs in subways and taxis?

Thinkin about gettin a big dog, so I'm starting to plan how it might change what I can and can't do. I know some people here are terrified of dogs, but I want to make sure. Where can you not take your dog?

I've never seen a dog in the subway, so I assume that's a no go. How about taxis?

They don't allow dogs on subways or taxis here or busses.  You may be able to find a taxi driver willing to bend the rules, but the chances are really small.  You will pretty much need your own car if you want to transport your pet.

It depends on the city you are in. I'm in a third tier city and they allow dogs in the taxis but not on the buses.
