Q: Do you any Chinese person who is/was homeschooled?

It turns out that my g.f. was actually homeschooled. She told me not so long ago. Her parents sent her for a few years to primary school, and after many illnesses and fights with the teachers they pulled her out. After that, they just hired tutors to teach her at home. She has done pretty well for herself. She is self-employed has great marketable skills.  This is the first time I have ever heard of this in China. Education is the primary way of indoctrinating students to think and act in certain ways by the powers that be.

Good for her. Doesn't work for everyone and in China you need lots of money for home tutoring.
