Q: Do you like eating jujubes and other Chinese fruits?

Jujubes are quite interesting. They're like minature apples, and they're a super fruit. You can buy them fresh for a cheap price. Back home, I could probably only find them dried in a health food store for a hefty price. There are other cool fruits that I couldn't buy at home, like dragon fruit, which was interesting. What about you? Are there any new fruits you have tried here that you like?

Jujube's taste pretty bad in my opinion. On the other hand, I really like dragonfruit and Chinese pears. Haven't summoned the courage and savings to taste durian yet...

Jujube is awesome! dried or green (forget when's the season...). It has like 3 times more vitamin C than an orange...or something like that Laughing out loud If you like green or oolong tea, goes really well with that!

Xiamen is so full of tasty and exotic fruits...I forget the names..recently had loquat ('pipa') for the first time - amazing!

Longan ('dragon eye'), dragon ftuit, star fruit, passion fruit, jackfruit...its all here..

I'm a huge fan of mangosteens - impossible to get in the US because they are one of the main culprits of the Asian fruit fly and import of them is banned.
