Sorry to do this to you SIlva, but opportunistic , doesn't mean opportunity-rife or full of opportunities, like I think you meant. An opportunistic country would be one that for example tries to bring itself as much benefit without possibly thinking of the effects it has on others. That would be 机会主义 where you're from, not 有好多机会.

Edit: yes I do think China is opportunistic.

Exactly, easyrider.

In the spirit of community and international cooperation, I am hereby beginning a regular column to help Silva achieve more authenticity when passing himself off as "foreign".

English and cultural awareness lesson for Silva, #1.

An opportunity (n.) is a chance to achieve something.

Opportunistic (adj.) means likely to take advantage of opportunities. The word is typically used in a negative sense to mean greedy or grasping.

Your question should have been "Is China a land of opportunity?"

As a non-natIve English speaker, I can affirm that you used the wrong expression in your question. Teachers please correct me.

EDIT: hmm too late..

Silva, buddy. I get really embarrassed for you when you try to promote your country, but denigrate it instead...

But it's really funny how stupid you are... ... Shift+R improves the quality of this image. Shift+A improves the quality of all images on this page.
