Q: Do you feel like nationalism is getting better or worse among people here?

There is so much stuff going on at the moment, between foreigners getting the limelight for being morons, the Philippines, Bo Xilai, the blind activist, the change of leadership, etc, etc, etc...

Do you feel as though people are actually getting more nationalistic, or more skeptical about goings-on?

It comes and goes. Just a few years ago, they were really going after the French due to the protests against the Olympic torch.  The Japanese are always a "safe" outlet and last year it was "down with Vietnam".

While many are indeed skeptical, others are more than happy to drink the coolaid.
