Q: Do you find the shopping malls to be overpriced relative to the quality of the goods they sell?

It seems that the malls here in China overprice their goods as a means of capitalizing on this " It's expensive so I'll buy it and look cool attitude."  Any thoughts as to why people don't valuate their purchases against their utility for the product being purchased?

Premade clothes (as opposed to clothes made by a tailor) and shoes in China are far more expensive and are far less in quality compared to clothes and shoes in America. You are better off saving your kuais and buying clothes and shoes in your homes country whenever you make a trip back or asking friends and family to send you clothes from back home every so often.
