Q: Do you follow ping pong?

Who is your favourite player?

I think Ding Ning is pretty cool.

I don't really follow ping pong. The only player that I really enjoy watching is that South Korean player that likes to curve the ball. I like him because his shot is different from the other that just do straight shots.

Can't remember his name but he was on the national team that took second place in the olympics. (Drunk

He he, I said: "olympics"!!

Knowing how 5 year olds are forced to play ping pong 8 hours per day at the elite athletes academies, I think it is best not to support any sports in China.

I remember ping-pong as a boy.  It was a recreational game we played in the basement den or poolside cabana.  On par with horseshoes or badminton in the back yard while Dad was burning the burgers on the barbie.  Ahhh, those were the days...

Fasting forward. I play ping-pong today for exercise and the competitive tickle that I get when I beat players half my age!  Ha ha!  I love the game.  Called table tennis in the Olympics.  Pretty awesome.

But, yeah.  Sucks if you're an athlete (or a budding athlete), as Scando remarks.  And it's not just table tennis.  Think: gymnastics (ouch!), swimming & diving, tennis, etc.

I'll stick to ping-pong by the pool...
