Q: Do you guys do exercise to be muscular and keep slim?

Few Chinese guys do exercise or pay attention to their figures,i used to do exercise to be muscular, but i haven't done it for a long time since the temperature got cold. Don't you think it's also important for guys to be in shape?

Yes,we do,cause Shape is very important for me.

Luckily,I have been the same shape since I was 20.

my husband goes running and I ride a bike for 1 hour around 4-5 times per week,so,we do exercise together and It's a lot of fun.

Besides, I walk a lot too.

No, I eat less to keep slim, and exercise to get stronger. Muscles are a side effect.

BTW, guys don't watch their figures. That term is used to refer to women's bodies, OK?

Being muscular and keeping slim are opposite effects. Do cardio to keep slim (or just keep calorie expenditure roughly equivalent to calorie consumption) and lift weights to be muscular. Doing both is the best, if you have the time and commitment.

Yeah, I 'keep slim' all the time, however 'exercising' is my students domain.

Yep.   I usually go directly after work, when there are fewer people at the gym.  Also less peter checkers in the locker room

I dunno if its important for men to be in shape, but I think its important for me to be in shape. I was pretty good about it back when I lived in the US. It was easier then because I could get involved in seasonal team sports (which is something that doesn't really exist here.) When I was a kid I used to play soccer, swam competitively, played football (! We aren't having that conversation, you know the one I mean) and baseball. Then later in life into adulthood I picked up fast pitch softball, rugby union (15s) and sevens. I tried to get a gym membership but that really never worked out for me because I always find excuses not to go. I also tried running outside but the pollution and the stares make the whole thing so unpleasant I just don't do it anymore.
