What's JD? I use taobao for pretty much everything.

ironman510:

JD is a like the VIP of Chinese online shopping, everything is a 100% real and new and you can pay in cash if they come to your door and you can pay by debit card at the door too.

I'll sum it like:

Buying an iPhone5s?

On JD = 100% real or money back and backed by a strict policy, thats why its the VIP and pricey site of China.

On Taobao: Risking fake products. 50/50

hunny797:

just a slight addition to Iron:

only the service is VIP the price is awesome at JD...

not awesome as compared to taobao but as compared to local shopping stores like carrefour lottemart vanguard etc...

prices are quite reasonable at JD

a 125x150 tent is available in shopping stores at 150RMB

I got 250x300 sized tent at less than 150
