Q: Do you have a fixed like and dislike for any countries and their citizens?
Just like China and Japan because of the war or other isssues ,Do you have certain likes and dislikes for any countries and their citizens?
I really like Irish people. The ones I've met have always been funny, friendly and cheerful.
I think Europe came out of that war worse than China. It's in the past. War is a terrible thing and should be a reason for not having any more. How long should you hold a grudge? There have been wars all through recorded history. I just thought of one group, dam I hate Trojans.

The Trojans had it coming, see what happens when you steal women, you get a wooden horse. I think now it would be a black BMW SUV with blacked out windows and 250 Chinese guys hiding in it.( or 6 on a scooter).
I don't hate any nationality, but perhaps there are some people from certain countries that I wouldn't want to marry.

I don't dislike any nation, or people, but I do have a serious problem with European Federalists, of course they are not a race but a political movement.
I don't dislike people based on nationality. I am from one of the most ethnically diverse cites in the world.
I dislike some governments..rude people and all encompassing greed.
I guess Sammy that being Chinese you will say you do not like Japanese. If I am wrong please correct me. This is totally illogical and completely racist. I am from England but I do not hate Germans because of the war, what was done is done and the people committing those actions are largely dead and gone. What would you think of me if I said I really hated all Chinese because of what happened in the Boxer rebellion. Truth is I do not hate any race or anyone. There are people who I choose not to associate with because I do not like them as individual people, their nationality, or colour, or religion has nothing to do with it. We are all born on the same planet, it just happens that you were born in one area and I was born in another, so why should geography be a basis for hatred. Everywhere we go we will meet people we like, and sometimes love, and we will meet some complete arseholes as well, that's life.

Maybe it was different what the Japanese did to China than what Germany did to England, but what about what the Germans did to Poland, Russia, France etc. There is no hatred today, and the last couple of decades people who fought against each other have been shaking each others hands in friendship. Even those actually on the battlefield have forgiven, those whose families where killed.

Well you know they still got to make a living. They got to do the 9-5 jobs whatever and of course they'll socialise with everyone. The same as registered sex offenders etc.
I ain't going to justify any of them.

in my experience i've found that there are 2 types of racists. supremacists or people who hate a particular race. people who hate a particular race usually do so because of a past trauma or a series of traumatic experiences (bullied as a kid). some eventually develop out of it with more experience. but you would be amazed at how something as simple as a first love leaving for a guy of another race could affect some people. i haven't quite figured supremacist out. i guess my point is i used to see racists as ignorant morons but i learned that some are people who just had bad experiences and didn't know how to cope with it.
i hate dogs. each and everyone of them. i hate warlocks. i love red headed irish women.

No, I was brought up to respect a person character and not to disrespect a person because of his/her colour or nationality or citizenship and you or me did not have a choice on being born black, white, yellow or brown or being born in which country..............oh, I almost forgot or being born a green man, lol
I don't very much like terrorists and liars. In my experience, they can come from any country.
I wouldn't say I hate any one nationality entirely, but I think the Israelis got it coming to them. Especially considering the way they constantly mistreat the Palestinians... apart from that, I am neither here nor there.

don't confuse the isrealis govt for the isrealis people. based on my limited knowledge, most of the isrealis people would like to see the pals granted independence. their gov is not as democratic as it seems.

Old topic, but I just wanted to respond by saying that as an American man, I believe the inherit power of any country begins with its people. You can look at Syria, they are engaged in a bitter civil war. Why? Because many people wanted change. If the Israeli people really wanted their neighbors to be free and independent, they could pressure the government. Being lazy or unwilling to make change is ultimately a matter for the people. The Israelis find it easier to simply choose for their neighbors to be the victims versus themselves should they speak out. Fear, cowardice, laziness, etc.. are not good excuses for innocent people to suffer.
